Artist Biography

Jade Ashcroft studied Art & Design HND, Music HND and Media Production BA Hons Degree at the Cumbria Intitute of the Arts. At the same time as studying for her BA she also trained in Usui Reiki up to the level of Master Teacher.

Esoteric Artist Jade Ashcroft

• Apart from her academic qualifications, Jade is also a fully qualified Field Investigator with MUFON and carries out investigations into hauntings and UFO sightings. From an early age she was interested in psychic phenomena, divination and the esoteric. For the last ten years she has read Tarot, Runes, the Crystal Ball and she also casts personal Astrological Charts for her clients. She also teaches Reiki and holds meditation workshops and instructs others how to cleanse negative energies, or disturbances, in their homes.

• Through her art and music Jade allows others to open up to the benefits of spirituality and enlightenment through introspection. She paints 'Spirit Guides' and Soul Scapes to help others to connect with their own guides, and enable them to progress with their spiritual development.

 

• Jade promotes the Art of Healing through self-expression using various artisic mediums and has been involved many different projects over the years, some of which can be found by following the projects link. Four times a year, on the Winter/Summer solstices and the Autumn/Spring Equinoxes Jade edits the digital publication of the Enlightening Times, the content of which is mostly material submitted from readers and other professional therapists and consultants. Jade talks about the need for freedom of expression:

"People need something to believe in, so why not let it be in themselves? There are so many people that I meet who are unhappy with their lives and want to change it but they lack courage simply because they have been indoctrinated against originaily and individual expression. Creation of art, poetry, and music is vital to wellbeing of the individual and to the evolution of the soul. Because they use their minds so much it is almost as if their hearts are stifled and unable to express emotion freely. The emhasis on work to the detriment of sanity in our society is disgusting, the government would rather have you unhappy and working for minimum wage than do something that gives you confidence to do the things that would make you happy and well!"............................
