This Goddess Brighid doll was created with airdry clay , at Imbolc , using water from several local Cumbrian wells and sacred springs.

Brighid is an old Irish pre Christian goddess who survived the changing times. she is a member of the Tuatha de Danaan. wife of the Daghda in the Irish Myths.

Brighid is one of my chosen Goddesses that I have worked with for years. every year at Imbolc we honour her collecting sacred waters and this year I used those sacred waters to create dolls in her honour.

Place her on your altar or on a wall near your altar and she will protect your space.
